Betty Murray, CN, IFMCP

Betty Murray is Certified Nutritionist and Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner with the Institute for Functional Medicine. She is also the CEO of Living Well Dallas, an Integrative Functional Medicine Clinic and Minerva Medical Consulting, a company dedicated to helping physicians and health care providers develop new, innovative and profitable medicine practices.
Prior to entering the health care field she spent 15 years in corporate settings in management, marketing and sales and information systems. From 1998 to 2005, Betty was The Director of Store Systems for The Container Store. She managed a team of 23 developers to create first in class retail experiences for customers through the use of technology.
She also is the founder and Executive Director of the Dallas Functional Medicine Association of North Texas, a 501c6 organization providing physicians and allied health professional training the functional medicine paradigm. This is in conjunction with Texas Health Resources and programs receive CME Level 1 credits from the Texas Medical Association. She is on the advisory board of Southern Methodist University’s School of Exercise Physiology and Sports Management as well as a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals.
Betty is an author and sought after speaker. She has delivered Keynote presentations for the Go Red Campaign, the International Scleroderma Foundation Symposium and Baylor Hospital Sammons Cancer Center. For the past 4 years she has been a subject area expert Fox News Radio National Broadcasting for nutrition and health related topics. She is a frequent guest on EyeOpener TV and WFAA TV in Dallas. She is the host of Metabolic Blueprint Radio on two internet radio platforms.
Jenny Bair, MHE
COO
Jenny Bair holds a Master’s Degree in Health Education. She is COO of Living Well Health & Wellness Center (LWD) and Minerva Medical Consulting. Before starting LWD, she was a healthcare consultant with the University of Austin/Texas Department of Health & N.I.H. throughout Texas for the Putting Prevention Into Practice Program (P.P.I.P.) initiative from 1999-2001 before the funding directives changed after 9/11. The P.P.I.P. Initiative was the first iteration of quality outcomes, measures, and accountable care. She and her team oversaw 40+ practices, teaching them proper preventive medicine documentation/programming/educating patients, quality control and doing Patient Flow Analysis (PFA) Studies. While at UTA, Jenny studied under the late Dr. Oscar Mink, creator of the Open Organizations Consulting Model.
She was instrumental in opening two boutique practice-hospital models in Austin directing the marketing and wellness program activities in the hospitals and specialty prevention clinics (The RenaissanceWomen’s Center & Austin Heart Cardiology). She worked with individual clients, directed patient and employee education programs that served 500 to 5000 community attendees, sat on numerous committees and composed a Community Advisory Board. Previously, she has been an adjunct professor at four universities. During her undergraduate program, she assisted in running the peer education volunteer group, called The Network, (which is still going today at Texas State University now with 30,000 students. She ran the peer education program called W.E.L.L. Wellness Educators for Longer Lives), taught peer education, and managed the Healthy Lifestyles Center for 11,000 students at Idaho State University. She has written several Alcohol Education grants and assisted on a patient centered care grant submission to N.I.H. Jenny was a part of the innovative Motorola WellQuest corporate wellness program in the late 90’s.
She is currently a member of the IACC & AACC (as a coach), NAPO National & NAPO-DFW which she chartered thirteen years ago, serving in multiple roles and also as President for two years.

Patrice Morin-Spatz is a medical coding and reimbursement subject matter expert supporting individuals, organizations, groups, and other business entities throughout the United States with more than 30 years in her field. She is Certified as a CPMA (Certified Professional Medical Auditor), CPC (Certified Professional Coder), CMSCS (Certified Multi-Specialty Coding Specialist), and a CHCI (Certified Health Care Instructor). Patrice is a former editor of the American Medical Association’s (AMA) Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) book, and a published author of more than 15 books on coding. Her legal and coding expertise has been utilized by the D.o.J., D.o.D., attorneys, insurance companies, clinics, medical associations and organizations.
Whether testifying for medical fraud and abuse cases, assisting in the recouping of monies for physicians, providing medical coding seminars, audits, in-house consultations, superbill reviews or fee slip analysis for clients, her emphasis and expertise remains solely on “medical coding and reimbursement.” Ms. Morin-Spatz has dedicated her career to assisting individuals and organizations in the legal, medical, academic and governmental industries.
Since 1986 she holds over 50 copyrights on books related solely to medical coding and billing, and is recognized in the industry as an expert. As a lecturer, Ms. Morin-Spatz has educated, mentored, and trained more than 35,000 individuals worldwide through seminars, audits and classrooms. Her commitment to excellence leads her to continue developing additional products and services. In 2011 her cp”Teach” textbook was awarded the prestigious McGuffey Award through the Text and Academic Authors Association. In 2013 cp”Teach” received the coveted Texty award from the Text and Academic Authors Association. Created in 1989, this “how-to” medical insurance coding book line has been used by more than 900 schools and universities, and is the first of its kind, and oldest annually updated series in the US. “Body Works” a book she co authored with John Brandy M.D., Ph.D received the prestige Ben Franklin award in Science from the Independent Book Publishers Association. In 2013 Ms. Morin Spatz was inducted into the TAA Council of Fellows.
